Privacy Policy

Applies to: Daybreak for iOS  ·  Effective: 5 August 2026  ·  Developer: Anchori Intel

The short version: Daybreak has no account and no login. Your goals, decisions, vault items and reflections live on your device and in your own private iCloud, not on our servers. We show no ads, use no tracking or analytics, and never sell or share your data.

1. Who We Are

Daybreak is developed by Anchori Intel, a sole-trader app studio operated by Stuart McMillan, registered in Australia (ABN 51 277 394 323). Questions about this policy: hello@anchoriintel.com.

2. What Stays on Your Device and Your iCloud

Everything you create in Daybreak (your goals, projects, daily commands, decisions, vault items and reflections) is stored locally with Apple's SwiftData and synced across your own devices through your private iCloud account (CloudKit). We cannot see it. There is no Daybreak server holding your content.

3. Your Calendar (Optional)

If you connect your calendar, Daybreak reads your events on your device to plan your day and show free time. You choose exactly which calendars are included. It only ever writes an event when you tap Protect to block focus time, and it never schedules anything on its own. Calendar data is never sent to our servers.

4. The AI Daily Command (Optional)

When the AI features are enabled, the text you've entered (your goals, projects and due vault items, plus a summary of free and busy time) is sent, over an encrypted connection, to our processing function, which relays it to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your daily command, decision reads, drafts and weekly review.

5. Notifications and Sharing

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. When you use Send to household, you choose what to share and send it yourself through your own Messages or Mail. Daybreak doesn't transmit it for you, and your Vault stays private except for the items you deliberately choose to share.

6. What We Never Do

7. Deleting Your Data

Settings → Erase all my data permanently removes everything, on your device and in your iCloud. There's no server copy to delete, because we don't keep one.

8. Children

Daybreak is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the next app update's release notes. We never change it retroactively in a way that reduces your protections.

10. Contact

We read every email and reply personally.
