Privacy Policy

Applies to: RECKON for iOS  ·  Effective: 3 August 2026  ·  Developer: Anchori Intel

The short version: RECKON keeps a record of the calls you choose to make. You can use the app anonymously — an account is optional. The calls you make, and RECKON's verdicts on them, are stored on our backend so your track record is real and verifiable. Public calls are visible to other users by design; private calls are not. We show no ads, use no third-party tracking or analytics, and never sell your data. You can edit or delete your calls, and delete your account, at any time.

1. Who We Are

RECKON is developed by Anchori Intel, a sole-trader app studio operated by Stuart McMillan, registered in Australia (ABN 51 277 394 323). Questions about this policy: hello@anchoriintel.com.

2. What RECKON Collects, and Where It Goes

RECKON is a record of judgment — a place to make a call, lock it, and let it resolve. To make that record real, some data is stored on our backend. Here is exactly what, and where.

Your account identity. By default you're anonymous: RECKON creates a random account identifier so you can make calls without giving us anything about you. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple gives us an opaque user identifier and, optionally, your name and an email address (a private relay address if you pick that). We use it only to attach your handle and track record to you across devices.

Your calls and their resolutions. The predictions you make, the confidence you set, the deadline, and the verdict RECKON reaches (with the cited evidence used to settle it).

Your social activity. Who you follow and tail, calls you save, comments you post, and any reports or blocks you make.

Your subscription status. If you subscribe to RECKON Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store.

3. Market Data We Look Up (Not Data We Collect)

To settle price-based calls, RECKON reads public market data from third-party sources — currently CoinGecko (crypto) and Yahoo Finance (stocks). These are read-only lookups of public prices. We do not send your identity, your calls, or any personal information to them.

4. What We Never Do

5. Sign in with Apple

Sign in with Apple is optional. You can make calls, follow callers, join groups, and subscribe to Pro while anonymous. Signing in simply ties your handle and record to you so they survive across devices and reinstalls. Apple may relay an anonymous email address to us; we send no marketing and keep no mailing list.

6. Where Your Data Is Stored

Our backend runs on Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL platform), hosted in Sydney, Australia. Access is protected by row-level security so that your private and group-only calls are readable only by the people they're meant for. Data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS using Apple's networking stack.

7. Third-Party Services

RECKON uses these third-party services to operate:

8. Your Rights

You can, at any time, from inside the app:

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@anchoriintel.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Data Retention

We keep your account and calls for as long as your account exists. When you delete a call it is removed; when you delete your account, your profile and associated records are removed from our backend. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups before rotating out.

10. Children

RECKON is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

11. International Users

RECKON is built and hosted in Australia and operates under Australian privacy law. If you use the app from outside Australia, your data is processed on our Sydney-hosted backend. By using RECKON you consent to that processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the next app update's release notes. We never change it retroactively in a way that reduces your protections.

13. Contact

We read every email and reply personally.
