The short version: Tuckfly keeps everything on your device. Your envelopes, balances, bills, and the transactions you log or import all stay in Tuckfly's on-device storage. There is no account, no login, no backend server, no analytics, and no advertising. We don't collect your data because there's nowhere for it to go — it never leaves your phone except through Apple's own systems that you already control.
1. Who We Are
Tuckfly is developed by Anchori Intel, a sole-trader app studio operated by Stuart McMillan, registered in Australia (ABN 51 277 394 323). Questions about this policy: hello@tuckfly.com.
2. What Tuckfly Stores, and Where
Your budgeting data — the envelopes you create, their balances and planned amounts, your savings goals, bills, and every transaction you log or import.
- Stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData, with the operating system's at-rest encryption.
- Never transmitted to a server we control. Anchori Intel has no backend that holds any of it.
- A small, non-sensitive summary (your spendable total and a few envelope names/balances) is written to a private on-device app group so the Tuckfly widget and Live Activity can display it. This stays on your device.
Bank transactions you import (CSV) — if you use the Import feature, you choose a bank export file from your own device.
- The file is read and analysed entirely on your device to detect recurring bills. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- This version of Tuckfly has no live bank connection — CSV import only.
Subscriptions — if you subscribe to Tuckfly Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple's App Store.
- Apple processes the payment. Tuckfly only receives your subscription entitlement status from Apple (via StoreKit) to unlock Pro features. We never see your card or payment details.
- We do not run our own account or billing server.
3. What We Never Do
- We never sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We never show advertising. Tuckfly has no ad inventory.
- We never share your budgeting data with a third party.
- We never train an AI model on your finances.
- We never use tracking identifiers (IDFA, ATT prompts) — Tuckfly opts out of tracking entirely.
- We don't collect analytics or crash data in this version.
4. No Account, No Login
Tuckfly has no sign-in. You don't create an account, and we hold no email address or profile for you. You can use every feature without identifying yourself to us in any way.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, Tuckfly schedules gentle local reminders (for payday and upcoming bills) on your device. These are generated on your phone and are not sent through any server we operate.
6. Third-Party Services
Tuckfly relies on only one third party — Apple:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — processes Tuckfly Pro subscriptions and reports entitlement status back to the app. Apple Privacy →
A future version of Tuckfly may add an optional live bank-feed connection through an accredited open-banking provider (for example Basiq in Australia, or Plaid in the US and UK). That will be strictly opt-in, and this policy will be updated with the details before it ships.
7. Your Rights and Control
Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control:
- Delete everything — Tuckfly's You tab has a "Delete all data" button that erases every envelope and all history from your device.
- Delete the app — removing Tuckfly removes all of its on-device data.
- Cancel your subscription — manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account subscription settings.
8. Data Retention
Your data stays on your device until you delete it (or delete the app). We hold nothing on our side to retain or delete, because we never receive it.
9. Children
Tuckfly is a general-audience budgeting app rated 4+. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we change how Tuckfly handles data (for example, when optional bank feeds arrive), we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
